HAST Conference - 16 June 2015

60 Governors and senior staff from all 13 HAST schools attended an evening conference at Harlington Upper School on 16 June 2015.  They listened to presentations about HAST successes to date and future plans, and were given information about the three commissioned services run by HAST.  They were then asked to form small groups, taken from a range of schools and governors/staff, and consider the question "What to do that would most benefit the HAST pyramid?"

The groups came up with some wonderful ideas, ranging from common assessment systems to enrichment activities for all to a HAST minibus!  The HAST Board and Executive are now considering which of these ideas to take further in the short and longer term, and will be setting up working parties in the Autumn Term to work on the practicalities.

The attendees then had an opportunity to meet their counterparts from other schools, and all agreed that it had been a successful evening.
